People joined in the drumming, bird-singing and dancing contests and peon games. Competitive dancers and drum groups, in handcrafted native wear, performed ancient tribal songs and dances. The powwow was canceled last year due to coronavirus safety concerns.Īttendees Saturday took part in traditional Native American parades, dances and music.
